Stephanie Gawne (she/her) is a theatre creator, cabaret performer, choreographer, and singer trained in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational London. She is passionate about addressing the lack of roles and visibility for neurodivergent, female performers aged 50+.

Stephanie’s career has taken her on many exciting adventures. She’s taken principal roles in pantomimes, performed as a dancer in China, India, and Hong Kong, choreographed for television, hosted live shows, produced and created many events.

Stephanie, aka FooFooLaBelle, is also a renowned burlesque artist known for her deliciously absurd comedy burlesque and sing-and-fling acts.

In 2007, Stephanie founded Cardiff Cabaret Club, an ever-growing community of friendship and understanding, producing over 290 unique line-ups and teaching thousands of classes and workshops.

Stephanie’s goal is to see an audience enraptured regardless of age, background, or experience.

Stephanie, a dyslexic individual, has encountered challenges throughout her life.  Now, she’s thrilled to begin a new chapter in her career as a writer and theatre performer. In 2025, she co-founded Dyckhoff and Gawne, an eclectic theatre-making intergenerational duo.
